If the Grand Ole Opry left you hankerin' for food, dancing, or more music, take a stroll downtown Nashville's 2nd Avenue and Riverside Park Area.

Take a trip south down the Historic Natchez Trace Parkway. Stop off in Lawrenceburg to view David Crockett statue and museum. Visit nearby Ethridge for Amish baskets and rocking chairs.

Traveling west, take in Kentucky Lake recreation in the Paris area; head on down to Graceland in Memphis. Wade Mud Island and learn all about the Mississippi River.

Don't miss the amazing Museum of Appalachia if you are anywhere near Knoxville. It's an easy drive from there to world famous Gatlinburg and the Smoky Mountains.

Treat yourself to storytelling in Historic Jonesboro, in the northeast part of the state. Stop off at the Tennessee Aquarium on your way to whitewater adventure, if you're headed towards Chattanooga.
